Passion – Depth - Sensuality. These are only some of the attributes Lydia Maria Bader’s performances are characterized by the press.
The German magazine Focus called her “The New Classical Superstar” .

With her topically designed concert programs (eg. “Happy Birthday Franz Liszt”, “Pictures of an Exhibition”, “Sonatas and Folklore”) the young German pianist is a welcome guest at many concert venues and festivals in Germany, Europe and Asia.

Lydia studied at the University for Music and Performing Arts of Munich and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.

She is a multiple prizewinner of German national competitions, a laureate at the International Piano Competition FLAME in Paris and the 1st prizewinner af the Glière competition.

Lydia is frequently invited at festivals such as “Musique au coeur des Barronies” in France, or the “Festwochen Gmunden” in Austria .

In 2009 she was invited to perform her first concert tour in China. Followed by a big media attention (Press, Radio, Television) she performed five recitals in the Provinces of Yunnan, Guangxi and Hunan. Titulated by the local media as the “German Piano Princess” she also held two masterclasses in Hengyang and Chenzhou.
